A few notes before we start
131 of you answered the survey over the course of about a month. That’s more than twice as many replies as last year!
Like last time, other characters may chime in with a comment every now and then. These will be prefaced with the usual emoji and “Text in italic.”
Cassy: “Like this!” 🤔
Yes, exactly like this.
Sandra: “As in the previous year, the actual data collection and sampling are somewhat lacklustre.”
The answers are a little biased towards positive feedback. People who aren’t interested in the content, or dislike it, are fairly unlikely to take the time to fill out a survey like this, and I’ve mainly advertised it on my own “channels” like Discord and Pixiv.
In addition, everything was optional by design, so not everyone answered every question. Several questions were also tied to conditions — e.g. questions about the April Fools’ game were only shown to people who said they had played it, and detailed feedback questions were only shown to people giving 2⭐️ or lower ratings. Where a question was only shown to some people, the caption says so.
Sandra: “Still, some data is better than none whatsoever. And it presents an opportunity for everyone to voice their concerns and opinions anonymously.”
And character popularity polls are always interesting, right?
We’ll go over the general questions in this post and get to the much-anticipated character popularity polls in a follow-up.
Rhia: “Proper cruel, tha’ is, mun!”
Well, without further ado, let’s get started with:
Who you are
First: how did you discover TDG, and where do you mainly engage with the content?
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Pixiv | 81 | 63.8% |
| Discord | 35 | 27.6% |
| The TDG website | 5 | 3.9% |
| A link/recommendation from someone else | 5 | 3.9% |
| Search engine | 1 | 0.8% |

| Answer | Count | Share of respondents |
|---|---|---|
| Pixiv | 80 | 63.0% |
| The TDG website | 55 | 43.3% |
| Discord | 41 | 32.3% |
| Deviant | 1 | 0.8% |
| Other (unspecified) | 1 | 0.8% |
| 1 | 0.8% |
Respondents could pick more than one, so the shares add up to more than 100%.
Pixiv is the leader in both categories, which isn’t too surprising given the size of the platform and how public it is. While not a lot of people found the website first, a good chunk seem to use it to stay up to date!
Sandra: “For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the write-in answers are kept as their own labels rather than lumped into ‘Other’. That is why we have a few stray one-vote answers appearing at the bottom.”
Amy: “Aye, some o’ them are a wee bit curious, richt enough.”
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Less than a month | 8 | 6.3% |
| 1-6 months | 55 | 43.7% |
| 6-12 months | 34 | 27.0% |

| A few times a month | 18 | 14.4% |
| A few times a week | 64 | 51.2% |
| Daily | 37 | 29.6% |
There’s a surprisingly good mix of people who are here for a bit, here for a while, have basically stuck around since the beginning, and newcomers. And many of you even engage with the content on a pretty regular basis!
Amy: “Cannae get enough oglin’ at us, aye?”
Cassy: “Muoooh… don’t phrase it like that, Amy!” 😡
But while we’re at it… while the popularity polls are for another time, we can go over how happy people are with the girls’ looks.
Melanie: “That just sounds wrong…”
Your preferred proportions
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Too small | 31 | 24.6% |
| Just right | 79 | 62.7% |
| Too large | 13 | 10.3% |
| Don't care/Not interested | 3 | 2.4% |
For the vast majority of people the girls are buff enough, and the “Could be bigger” crowd is more than twice as big
Melanie: “Ughhh…” as the opposition. A tiny fraction doesn’t seem to care at all.
Amy: “Aye, on tae the next important topic.”
Cassy: “BOOBIES!!!” 😁
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Too small | 26 | 20.6% |
| Just right | 75 | 59.5% |
| Too large | 18 | 14.3% |
| Don't care/Not interested | 7 | 5.6% |
Most people are happy with what’s on display here, too. The “too big” and “too small” opinions are also more evenly balanced.
Sandra: “More than a handful ought to be enough for everyone, and even I’m… ahem…”
Amy: “…fillin’ some pretty big hands wi’ nae effort!”
Sandra: “… no point denying the truth.”
Melanie: “The next one is more… interesting…”
Rhia: “Finally, some opinions on me big girl down below, mind!”
Cassy: “But Melly’s short?” 😅
Amy: “We’re talkin’ aboot todgers oan lassies, ken?”
Cassy: “Hmmmh?!?”
Melanie: “Girl dicks…”
Cassy: “Ohhh…” 😳

| Too small | 30 | 23.8% |
| Just right | 56 | 44.4% |
| Too large | 12 | 9.5% |
| Don't care/Not interested | 28 | 22.2% |
As with the other questions most people are happy, and unsurprisingly this one had the highest “Don’t care” rate. However, there’s a two-and-a-half-to-one advantage in favour of “too small” again.
Cassy: “E-Even bigger than Rhi-Rhi?!?”
Cassy: “How’s that going to fit anywhere, and where’s all that blood even coming from?”
Rhia: “You dun’t have to take the whole thing, mun. Have a bit o’ creativity, like…”
Melanie: “… and where there’s a will, there’s a way…”
Amy: “Mair like ‘Nothin’s impossible if ye want it badly enough’, eh?”
Melanie: “Maybe…”
Sandra: “Moving on to variety…”
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Too little | 22 | 17.7% |
| Just right | 87 | 70.2% |
| Too much | 6 | 4.8% |
| Don't care/Not interested | 9 | 7.3% |
Like the other questions, this was more about how people feel about the status quo, because I’m aware that the actual variety is fairly low.
Amy: “Whit dae ye mean? There’s tall lassies wi’ big muscles an’ big boobs, huge muscles an’ huge boobs, an’ gigantic muscles an’ boobs… there’s even gigantic boobs an’ juist huge muscles on a wee short lass!”
Well…
Cassy: “We also have two guys that are both kinda short and not very muscular at all!”
Siggy: “…Thanks, Cassy.”
Melanie: “I think I see the point…”
Rhia: “Dun’t forget about the fox, mind!”
Amy: “Aye! Tall, huge muscles, huge boobs, huge todger!”
Sandra: “Tall, huge, huge, and huge…”
Amy: “Dinnae ruin it, auld hen!”
Either way, a fairly large number of people seem content, but a decent amount of voices still want more variety. Part of that is also due to the restrictions of SDXL and the like; I’d like to have more fine-grained control to differentiate the silhouettes a little more.
Basically, it would be nice if you could cut off the head (and e.g. Rhia’s dick & tail).
Rhia: “Oi! Rude, tha’ is, mun!”
…and still tell who’s who based on the proportions alone, but that’s currently not the case. This point has also been raised in written feedback. One of my personal struggles is that I really like huge anime boobs. 😅
Sandra: “We can tell…”
Azdael: “I just need to get more screen time, I’ve got all the variety you could possibly want!”
How you rate the designs
So now that we have a clear idea of how the looks of the girls are perceived, we can also go over the few questions about how “well made” the characters are in a more general sense.

| 4 ★ | 29 | 23.8% |
| 5 ★ | 92 | 75.4% |
Both the personalities and visual designs scored pretty high, which is quite nice to see.
Amy: “Tap marks fer the looks? Ah could’ve telt ye that fer nothin’, pal.”
Sandra: “Modesty was never on your syllabus, was it?”
Amy: “Naw, an’ ye ken that fine, dae ye no’?”
The score for variety was a little lower:

| 3 ★ | 16 | 13.1% |
| 4 ★ | 27 | 22.1% |
| 5 ★ | 76 | 62.3% |
Part of that comes down to the restrictions of AI, my own (narrow) preferences, and the fact that half the characters are daughters, or a remix of the original cast.
Azdael: “Are you calling me a remix?!? The audacity! I’m a combination of the best features, with the most important ones coming from MYSELF!”
Melanie: “‘A remix of the original cast.’ You say that like it’s a defence.”
Cassy: “I’m the original! Right? …Right?” 😰
Anyway… if I add more characters, I’ll try to add some flavour, but you probably won’t get a girl with anything less than a medium chest from me!
And now the final design element that makes TDG… British accents! (and the speech patterns in general).

| Alright | 45 | 37.2% |
| Don't care | 17 | 14.0% |
| Dislike them/too thick | 17 | 14.0% |
A good chunk of people seem to be perfectly fine with them, and almost as many love them. They are too thick for a fair few, though — something that has also been mentioned in the written feedback.
Rhia: “Ych a fi! Folk dun’t understand me proper, innit?”
Amy: “Am Ah no’ speakin’ English, pal?”
I haven’t figured out a good way to properly address this. I certainly won’t get rid of them, since it’s something that feels fairly unique about the cast.
Cassy: “Amy could still just say ‘all’.” 😅
Amy: “Nae chance, lassie! Nae chance at AW!” 😤
Cassy: “Muoooh…”
How you rate the content
From rating the girls to rating the actual content.
Yuki: “Mhmm… I think we could use a bit of fresh blood now!”
Cassy: “Muoooh… are you calling us old, Yu-tan?!”
Melanie: “Fine by me. All these numbers are getting tedious.”
Fiona: “Let’s fling up some mair o’ these bar charts, aye?”

Yuki: “That’s a pretty strong result.” 💪☺️
So yeah, image quality ranked highest! I’m glad people like how “my” stuff looks; the result is still better than I expected. So many “full marks”, and only two people deemed them mid.
Mio: “Tryin’ to make us look tidy is the least you can do, mun!”
Well, I’m doing my best (within reason…) and apparently the girls don’t just look good but also fairly consistent!

| 5 ★ | 89 | 71.8% |
This is more about how bothered people are by the inconsistencies. I’m trying to keep the characters somewhat stable, but plenty of issues still remain.
Some characters are also clearly worse than others…
Ciri: “My hair and streaks look different all the time, mun!”
Mio: “An’ I’m randomly switchin’ between a belt an’ a sash, like! Sort tha’ out, y twpsyn!”
Azdael: “My tanlines come and go completely at random… which is, to be fair, entirely within my powers. Let’s pretend it’s intentional.”

| 4 ★ | 43 | 34.7% |
| 5 ★ | 62 | 50.0% |
Writing got the lowest score in this category. It’s still shockingly high, since… well… I can’t write.
Yuki: “It’s not that bad… you could write an average isekai!” 😉
Fiona: “Average? That’s pure insultin’, so it is…”
Yuki: “Uhmm… I mean… I can’t lie, can I…” 👉👈😳
There were also several comments regarding this, and the general tone was that the fairly all-over-the-place, low-stakes micro-stories just aren’t all that interesting, riff on the same themes too often, and are “sometimes a little cringe”.
Fiona: “Aye… that’s fair enough, Ah s’pose.”
I didn’t have any plans for… well… anything when I started this. Now, with more characters and lore in place, a more compelling narrative arc could be built. But TDG has always been a series I make when the mood strikes, and a long arc is the fastest way to kill that. So: probably not.

Ciri: “Huh… those did better, mind. Curious, innit?”
Given that they are the amalgamation of… well, everything above, with some additional challenges stacked on top, this is a bit surprising. The spread was a bit higher, with two people actually triggering the detailed feedback, which in this case was a whole set of additional ratings (with additional written feedback). Since it’s only two data points, I’ll omit all these tables here.
Sandra: “I feel it’s pertinent to at least mention that they were asked about page layout, readability, panel composition and text flow.”
Fiona: “The individual averages were better than the general ratin’… so in that case the whole wis worse than the sum o’ its pairts!”
In general, people seem to be fine with the quality, which brings us to the next category:
Which content you enjoy
Mio: “Well, would you look at tha’, mun.”

| Pure Images (just images no text) | 41 | 32.5% |

| CG Images (Text on the image) | 8 | 6.6% |
| TDG Tidbits (character Q&A) | 3 | 2.5% |
So yeah… comics comfortably lead both categories. They’re both the content people enjoy the most and what people want more of.
Fiona: “Yer a puir sod, pal!”
In general, the “higher effort” content is more in demand. As a purely written format, TDG Tidbits rank lowest, but I’m glad some people enjoy them. 😉
I also asked what kind of content I’m not currently making people would be interested in… and uhm…

Yuki: “Ehh? How did that happen?”
Ciri: “Peculiar indeed, like.”
I don’t know if this was too ambiguous, but what I meant by Traditional (short) stories was purely written content… no images, you know, just a story.
Well, either way… the other options are fairly close together, with only a low demand for guides and a few stray write-in options.
Mio: “Some o’ those we’re doin’ already, innit?”
Next up, I wanted to know what keeps people coming back… and to the surprise of no one:
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of respondents |

| Muscle girls | 117 | 93.6% |
| Futa | 64 | 51.2% |

Respondents could pick more than one, so the shares add up to more than 100%.
Fiona: “Ah cannae believe it! Folk come back fer the muscle lassies oan a muscle-lassie site? Whit are the odds, eh?”
Ciri: “Well, sometimes you have to state the obvious.”
Mio: “Like your dick’s the second most popular reason, me chwaer?”
Ciri: “Shut up, dwt… No-not mine specifically, mind!”
Fiona: “Folk also like the spice, so they do!”
Yuki: “Some people even like the wholesome stuff!” ☺️
And a few of you even like my terrible humour.
Next up was a free text field asking for themes people want to see; it garnered 50 answers, so here’s my summary:
The dominant requests were for more common FMG themes… muscle growth (sequences & transformation), feats of strength, workout, size comparison, giantess, etc. Some wanted more Futa, some more Yuri, some more Straight stuff — you can see the issue. 😄 However, a few requests also wanted more Slice-of-Life content.
And I also asked what stops people from engaging more with TDG content. This got around 35 replies, with a sizeable number answering nothing/time/work, etc.
The most common item here was Amy’s accent, with three mentions.
Fiona: “Pure pish, that is! Ma maw’s accent is braw!”
Yuki: “Uhmm… you are pretty much included in this, Ama-tan…” 😣
Mio: “Dodged a bullet there, I did, mun!”
Ciri: “Luckily Ternary knows zero actual Welsh…”
Everything else was basically single mentions: some don’t like Futa, some don’t like Yuri, some don’t like Straight sex, some don’t like NSFW stuff in general. Well, it’s impossible to please everyone.
Fiona: “Ah still dinnae mind tryin’, sugar!” ❤️🔥
Ciri: “So… about that too much NSFW point…”
Mio: “The right stuff is what they need, me chwaer!”
Yuki: “Ehhh…” 😳
And finally, there are the “subseries” I’ve started, whether TDG original, IP parodies with the TDG cast, or pure “other IP” content.
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of respondents |
|---|---|---|
| She wants to be the very best (Pokemon Parody) | 48 | 50.5% |
| Misadventures in Gerudo Town (Legend of Zelda Parody) | 31 | 32.6% |
| The Cyber Gyaru | 29 | 30.5% |
| Cassy's 300 (300 Parody) | 28 | 29.5% |
| Buffdew Valley (Stardew/Harvest Moon Parody) | 24 | 25.3% |
| GyaruIchi — Ninja Gals | 19 | 20.0% |
| Mahogyaru (Magical Girl Genre Parody) | 19 | 20.0% |
| La Gyaru Noir | 14 | 14.7% |
Respondents could pick more than one, so the shares add up to more than 100%.
The most popular one was the Pokémon series (despite prominently featuring not just one but two very Scottish Pokémon trainers). While I feel that most work went into this setting, it’s also fairly “complete” as a story. 🤔
Fiona: “Nothin’s stoppin’ ye frae startin’ a new journey wi’ another Scottish lass, ken?”
Ciri: “And you know just the right candidate, innit?”
Fiona: “O’ course! Ma sister, she’s the daughter o’ the previous protagonists efter aw!”
Azdael: “There is also underused narrative potential about a certain shape-shifting Team boss, isn’t there?”
I feel that their popularity aligns pretty well with the effort and time I put into them. The Pokémon story had a decent length and 60 or so images; the Zelda parody around 20 pages across 1.5 comics and some “stray” images; while Gyaru Noir only got a short captioned set.

| Answer | Count | Share of respondents |
|---|---|---|
| Muscle Mommy Meta (Honkai Star Rail) | 57 | 61.3% |
| PKMN LeafGROWN (Pokémon) | 57 | 61.3% |
| HoloAN After Hours (Hololive) | 45 | 48.4% |
Respondents could pick more than one, so the shares add up to more than 100%.
These results were somewhat surprising, but also not… my most popular stuff on Pixiv is the Hololive content, but I’m not sure how much of that depends on the IP. HSR and Pokémon were at the top several times… and in the end they finished dead level, on 57 votes each.
There was also a question about censorship. Since this is only relevant for Pixiv users, I’ll just summarise.
Most people like "creative" censoring by a wide margin, followed by Mosaic/Pixelation. I'll try the "creative" approach whenever possible; it's obviously not happening if 20% of the image is a huge Futa cock.
About the website
I think this really isn’t particularly interesting to most people, so we’ll go over it fairly quickly and only put up one chart for this section. Most of these questions were technically only shown to people who answered that they had visited the website:
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes | 108 | 89.3% |
| No | 13 | 10.7% |
However, a really large number of respondents did visit!
This was honestly surprising to me. I have no meaningful user tracking on the page, so I don’t really know what’s going on, but it’s nice to know the site serves some purpose aside from providing material for (AI-)bot scraping. 😆
I asked about overall quality, styling/visual design, usability (also on mobile) and the quality of the character profile page in particular. All of these categories scored fairly high, ranging from 4.3 for mobile usability up to 4.7 for the character profile page. Seeing the profile page get good ratings is nice, since it’s gone through a couple of changes since its inception (back when I merely had 3 characters).
I’ve received some individual feedback about image downloads, which I’ve hopefully already addressed (it worked fine on my phone anyway).
Sandra: “I have some feedback, too. I’ve noticed a sharp uptick in seemingly vibe-coded CSS over the past months.”
No one likes to keep up with CSS standards and write all that stuff by hand…
Fiona: “He’s got ye there, so he has, Sandra.”
About the April Fools’ game prototype
This is purely informative, as I still don’t have any actual intentions of making a game, but I just wanted to know if anyone even found Rhia!
Rhia: “Hid pretty well, I did, innit?”
As expected, fewer people checked out this demo.
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Yes | 33 | 27.5% |
| No | 87 | 72.5% |
Out of the 33 who played, 32 answered the follow-up questions:
- 27 finished the prototype
- 12 people managed to find Rhia
Rhia: “The tidy dozen they are, like!” 💛 - 30 would like to see VN-style Slice-of-Life dialogue sections
- and 31 would like adult content!
Melanie: “A bit of sexy time never hurts in fiction… I mean… well, I mean exactly what I said.”
The prototype scored a rating of 4.1 (from those 32 respondents). And of the 31 people who hadn’t played it, 27 said they’d be interested in this kind of game.
Finally, I asked about the price people would be willing to pay:
View as table
| Answer | Count | Share of answers |
|---|---|---|
| Should be free | 11 | 37.9% |
| $1-5 | 10 | 34.5% |
| $5-10 | 7 | 24.1% |
| $10-20 | 1 | 3.4% |
Asked only of the respondents who played the prototype.
Almost every answer is in the ≤ $10 segment; a single respondent would pay in the $10-20 range (which approaches the price range of “normal” 2D platformers, I’d say).
So with an estimated revenue of maybe 3-4 bucks and probably low-triple-digit sales at best… that ain’t worth spending time on. 😆
Your (and my) closing thoughts
This final question garnered 35 responses in total. Many comments were nice words of encouragement. Some reiterated their feedback from other sections. A few people also gave longer feedback sandwiches. I’ve tried to wrap some of these points into my comments on other issues; I don’t want to address them in too much detail… that probably comes off as defending myself, and that’s not the intention.
It’s obviously really nice to hear that people enjoy my stuff, whether it’s from anonymous folks or ones who are easily identified (especially if they sign their feedback). Rest assured that I take everyone’s feedback and opinions seriously, and I’ll try to make adjustments to the best of my ability to have a little something for everybody. That sure didn’t get easier with the expanding cast.
But for the most part, I’ll still keep doing whatever motivates me in the moment. I’m always open to suggestions, though. I admit that hitting the right specificity to get me excited is not easy, but such is life. 😉
We’ll finish with a few select quotes directed at the characters:
Uhh, Amy i’m a big fan and please collab with Kafka again!
Amy: “Cheers, pal! It’s yer enthusiasm Ah love, so it is!” 💙
To the girls: I love watching your adventures and interactions!
To the main 4: Keep being yourselves, that’s why we love you~! Stay strong & have fun~!
Cassy: “CHUU!” 😘💖
Melanie: “Bit much, don’t you think?”
Cassy: “Not at all!”
To Sandra: You are my favorite~ I want to see you more often in these, please~ Your workout ethics & dedication are amazing to see~ *Gives quick hug to her~* :3
Sandra: “Wh-Why thank you! I shall let the unsolicited contact slide… this time.”
Amy: “The auld hen likes this mair than she’ll admit, ken?”
Sandra: “…”
Cassy, have you ever given Siggy a pec paizuri?
Cassy: “Ehhh?!?” 😳
Cassy: “Well… yes, yes I have.” 👉👈
Amy: “How did ye like it, ma wee lad?”
Siggy: “… it was… very nice…”
Amy: “Ricky liked his an’ aw!”
Ricardo: “You could keep some details private, you know?”
Amy: “Ah dae! But no’ this yin!”
Rhia: “Where’s me pec paizuri, bach?”
Melanie: “You’re too big… but maybe you could try yourself?”
Rhia: “Tidy idea, tha’ is, Melly!”
And this nicely wraps up our general stats post! If you are reading this, thanks for making it all the way down here!
Amy: “So can we finally get tae the guid pairt?”
Yes, yes… as mentioned in the intro, and just like last year, the “TDG Best Girl Awards” will be a separate post, but since the cast grew quite a bit, this will be a little more involved.
We will also go over the favourite ships—
Rhia: “Why ships, mun?”
Melanie: “As in relationships. It’s about the community’s favourite couples.”
