“To elaborate on the results just a little: The most common choice was picking all girls, while Miss Cicchetti was the most popular single choice. Miss Reid appears to be ‘a team player,’ and Miss Kanayama did well across categories.”

And that of course means we don’t just have two, but three “The Daily Gyaru Best Girls”!

So yeah… all three of them are “The Daily Gyaru Best Girl,” and that is — of course — the best outcome I could have hoped for!
It really turned out this way… the results were usually really close, with everyone being in the lead — or at the bottom — at some point. There were also extended periods of a three-way tie before!
Towards the end, it looked like Melanie would take the cake, and I’d already developed some ideas for dialogue, etc. But then a few more responses trickled in and closed the gap(s) again. When I noticed this, I locked in the result earlier than I’d initially planned, but I’m sure you guys can forgive that level of “manipulation.” 😉 It was just too perfect!

And here they are! Our three Best Girls at eye height! Yes, we even found a tiny pedestal for Melanie. She earned it!
