Aimee-Ffion Reid — or just Amy, as everyone calls her — is a 28-year-old woman from the region of Caledora, a land as wild and breathtaking as the Scottish Highlands themselves. Her dream is to become a Pokémon researcher and tool developer — after all, that storage box system still needs a few upgrades, doesn’t it?
To pursue that dream, she studies under Professor Sandra Flößer, Caledora’s resident Pokémon Professor. Sandra is a strict and exacting mentor — the kind of “Mistress” who loves order, discipline, and punctuality — which often clashes with Amy’s free-spirited nature. Still, the two share a strong bond, and though she’d never admit it aloud, Sandra secretly considers Amy her favourite student.
After years of routine lab work, however, Amy started to crave something new. So, after plenty of persistent pestering, Sandra finally agreed to send her on some “field work.” Amy’s task: to catalogue Caledora’s diverse Pokémon populations and study the habits and preferences of its trainers. To that end, Amy’s been encouraged to challenge as many Gyms as she can.
Dawn of a New Day
And today — at long last — Amy’s journey begins.
Sandra: “Oh… Amy! Haven’t seen you this early in the lab… ever!”
Amy: “Weel, today’s a special day, Prof.”
Sandra: “Is it now? Then let’s not waste any time and start with the explanation, shall we?”

With her first victory behind her, Amy followed the winding trail of Route 2. The air was still, the forest quiet—until a cheerful voice cut through the calm like a bell.

Amy finally reached the Pokémon Leageu at Gorm Ard deep in the Highlands and is ready for the Elite Four and Champion—after that night with Gloria, she’s more motivated and… relaxed than ever.
